Florence Island, a 4yo bay mare, competed in the Launceston R6 Ladbrokes Owners Promotion Maiden/Class 1. She is trained by Drew Tyson and is out of the stallion Tarzino and dam Nightingale Island. The filly has yet to win, having run six times without breaking her maiden. In her latest start at Hobart on 6 February 2026, jockey Lauryn Bingley guided her to an eighth-place finish behind the winner Nandi Clan.
