About
Matusalem, a 6yo brown gelding from Australia, is trained by Chris Waller at Rosehill. He is by The Autumn Sun out of Miss Dodwell. As a stakes winner with $927,125 in earnings, he is regarded as having above‑average ability. On 4 Sep 2026 at Wyong, jockey James McDonald rode him to his most important victory, the $250,000 Wyong Cup, defeating Anythink Goes. He has been a profitable runner for bettors; betting on him throughout his career would have produced a 34% return on investment.
