Ballina Racing Track

Ballina Racecourse is situated in the coastal town of Ballina on the scenic North Coast of New South Wales, around 10 hours north of Sydney and just over an hour south of the Gold Coast. With a history spanning more than 110 years, the racecourse plays a significant role in the local Ballina community.

The track features camber around the entire circuit, with a maximum distance of 1,600m and a 320m home straight.

The popular Trackside Marquee on the lawns draws many racegoers, offering a fully catered race day experience. Family race days are also a highlight, with a range of activities provided to keep children entertained.

Each January, the Ballina Jockey Club hosts the Iris Nielsen Ladies Invitation Race, an event that attracts many of the leading female jockeys from across Australasia.
