Belmont Racing Track

Belmont Racecourse serves as Western Australia’s main venue for winter racing. Equipped with some of the most advanced drainage systems in the world, the track is able to host meetings in almost all weather conditions. Even during colder months, spectators can remain comfortable by enjoying race day from fully enclosed facilities positioned between the track and Perth’s scenic Swan River.

Located just 5km from Perth’s CBD, Belmont Racecourse features a circuit measuring 1,699m in circumference with a 333m home straight. The oval layout includes long, sweeping bends at both ends, and the generous straight runs at the start of races across all distances mean barrier positions rarely have a significant influence on results.
