Info
Bordertown Racecourse is located around 273km south-west of Adelaide, set among an area rich in native flora and fauna. The surrounding region is home to a number of floral farms as well as a wildlife park that famously houses the rare white kangaroo.
The racecourse has a circuit of approximately 1,600m and features wide, forgiving turns that allow jockeys to contest position without placing undue strain on their mounts. Runners charge down the start–finish straight in front of enthusiastic spectators gathered in the recently installed pavilion, which was relocated to Bordertown after being dismantled from Victoria Park.
