Bunbury Racing Track

Bunbury Racecourse is situated around 173km south of Perth’s CBD along the Western Australian coastline, just a short distance from the clear waters of Koombana Bay. The area is internationally recognised for regular visits from pods of bottlenose dolphins, a highlight for both locals and visitors.

The track features a 348m home straight, with the remainder of the 1,796m circuit made up of continuous turns, which can make it challenging for horses settling back in the field to close on the leaders.

The Bunbury racing season spans approximately seven months and attracts racegoers from across Western Australia. Visitors enjoy the venue’s modern facilities and vibrant social calendar, including the popular and fiercely contested Fashions on the Field.
