Camperdown Racing Track

Nestled among the rolling hills of Camperdown and located just near Lake Colongulac, the historic Camperdown Racecourse offers a picturesque racing setting. The course sits about 200km south-west of Melbourne and features a circuit with a maximum distance of 2,000m and a 385m home straight. Its long, wide turns allow horses drawn across the field a fair opportunity to be competitive from any barrier position.

Camperdown is particularly well known for its heritage-listed iron grandstand, where racegoers can enjoy a drink while watching the action unfold. The venue truly comes alive on its feature meeting, the Camperdown Cup Day, when crowds gather to witness thoroughbreds thunder past the winning post.
