Coleraine Racing Track

Coleraine is a town located around 350km west of Melbourne in Victoria’s Shire of Southern Grampians. The Coleraine Racecourse sits approximately 3km east of the town and features a complex that includes the grandstand, stables, committee room, bar, and a dining room that holds historical significance for the local community.

The track itself has a more circular layout with no sharp bends, though it can still be demanding due to the undulating nature of the circuit, with noticeable rises and dips throughout. The feature event is the Coleraine Cup, traditionally run on the Sunday following the AFL Grand Final. This timing allows racegoers to carry the excitement of Saturday football into a relaxed Sunday at the races, often enjoyed from beneath a mini marquee while cheering on their selected runners.
