Cootamundra Racecourse is located approximately 385km west of Sydney. The town is famously known as the birthplace of Sir Donald Bradman and is also home to the oldest golf course in New South Wales. With such a strong sporting heritage, horse racing plays an important role in local life and is eagerly anticipated by the community.
The racecourse features a smooth, rounded layout with a circumference of 1,800m and a consistent width of 20m throughout. The circuit flows into a 350m start–finish straight, providing a fair and competitive racing surface.
