Info
Hamilton Racecourse is situated within the fertile agricultural region known as the Western Districts, positioned between the coastline and the Grampians, roughly a four-hour drive from Melbourne. The venue is bordered by classic buildings that retain a charming, vintage appearance.
Facilities such as the Puramaka Room, the Sir Agrifo Room, and the Apex Room provide flexible spaces suitable for race day functions, weddings, and birthday celebrations.
The track has a maximum circuit distance of just over 2,000m and features a 400m home straight. Hamilton Racecourse stages around 10 race meetings each year, including a strong focus on jumps racing, with the highlight of the calendar being the Hamilton Cup, traditionally run in April.
