Hawkesbury Racing Track

Hawkesbury Racecourse is located at the gateway to the Blue Mountains, roughly a one-hour drive from central Sydney. The venue is well regarded not only for its racing but also for its high-quality on-course facilities, which are suitable for a wide range of functions and events.

The track has a maximum circuit distance of 2,100m and features a spacious 400m home straight. A long chute of approximately 700m connects to the back straight and is used for race starts over distances ranging from 1,400m to 2,100m. The highlight of the racing calendar is Hawkesbury Gold Cup Ladies Day, where fashions on the field attract as much attention as the feature 1,600m Gold Cup handicap.
