Inverell Racecourse is located around 569km north of Sydney and less than 100km from the New South Wales–Queensland border. The track features full camber around its 1,600m circuit, with a tight final bend leading into a long 400m home straight.

Boxing Day is the standout meeting at Inverell Racecourse, highlighted by the feature race, the Inverell Cup. Racegoers are well catered for with a range of quality facilities and off-track entertainment, including popular Fashions on the Field competitions. For those who prefer a quieter experience, the venue also hosts picnic-style meetings that offer a more relaxed atmosphere.
