Kangaroo Island Racecourse is located in Kingscote, the island’s largest town, set along the shores of the vibrant Nepean Bay. Kangaroo Island is renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and is a popular destination for visitors, with attractions that include the well-known penguin colony living among the coastal cliffs near the town.
The track itself is generously proportioned, featuring a 1,600m circuit and a long 375m home straight.
Racing is held on two major days during the summer, when the course becomes a focal point for the island community, hosting a relaxed, sun-soaked celebration of racing, food, and entertainment.
