Moe Racing Track

Moe Racecourse is located in the western part of the picturesque Latrobe Valley, around 137km east of Melbourne. The venue offers the amenities and polish of a metropolitan track, along with high-quality racing, all set within beautifully maintained gardens and lawns that provide clear views of the nearby Baw Baw Mountains.

The track has a distinctive diamond-shaped layout with a relatively compact circumference of 1,740m. An uphill run along the back straight adds a challenge for competitors, before the 300m home straight slopes gently downhill toward the finish, passing the grandstand and the Turfside Function Room.

Each October, Latrobe City residents are granted a half-day public holiday to celebrate the Moe Cup. This annual feature meeting consistently draws large crowds and is a highlight of the local spring racing calendar.
