Northam Racing Track

Northam Racecourse is located along the edges of the picturesque Mortlock River in the heart of the Avon Valley, about 100km north-east of Perth’s CBD. The venue primarily hosts race meetings during the cooler months and is well regarded for its quality race day facilities, activities, and strong midweek provincial racing.

One of the larger circuits in the country, Northam Racecourse regularly produces competitive racing regardless of barrier draw. The track has a circumference of 2,017m and maintains a width of 25m throughout. Along the long 425m home straight, spectators have ample space to set up picnics or marquees and enjoy clear views of the racing action.
