Oakbank Racing Track

Oakbank Racecourse is recognised as the home of jumps racing in South Australia and is located around 33km east of Adelaide in the cool surrounds of the Adelaide Hills.

Widely regarded as hosting the world’s largest picnic race meeting, Oakbank comes alive each Easter weekend. Over two days on Easter Saturday and Monday, thousands of people from across the state gather to enjoy a wide range of race day activities designed for all ages.

The racecourse is distinctive in its layout, featuring both an extended steeplechase circuit and a standard 1,800m track. Both courses share a start–finish straight measuring approximately 360m in length.
