Rockhampton Sand Track Racing Track

Rockhampton Racecourse, also known as Callaghan Park, is located in the popular tourist city of Rockhampton on Central Queensland’s Capricorn Coast. Around 640km north-west of Brisbane, the venue occupies a prime position near the banks of the historic Fitzroy River.

The racecourse hosts more than 40 race meetings each year, drawing punters with a wide range of race day activities and social events, including the prestigious Fashions on the Field competitions.

The inner sand track features a maximum circuit distance of 1,600m and includes a generous 400m home straight, providing plenty of room for runners to finish strongly.
