Seymour Racing Track

Seymour Racecourse is located in the agricultural town of Seymour, approximately 100km from Melbourne, near the Goulburn River and just off the Hume Highway.

The all-weather grass track is steeped in history and set within a traditional country racing environment. With a circumference of 1,800m, the course also features a well-grassed 380m home straight, offering spectators plenty of space to enjoy the action, whether watching the racing itself or taking part in off-track attractions such as Fashions on the Field.

Each October, the venue hosts its feature meeting, the Darley Seymour Cup. This popular event consistently draws racegoers from across Victoria and beyond for a full day of racing and to enjoy the racecourse’s quality facilities.
