Swan Hill Racing Track

Swan Hill Racecourse is situated around 340km from Melbourne in the heart of the Murray region, surrounded by vast open spaces and expansive vineyards that stretch across the landscape.

The track is relatively long, with a circumference of 1,900m and features fairly tight turns. Its standout feature is the spacious, slightly uphill 475m home straight, alongside which numerous marquees are set up on the lawns during the Swan Hill Racing Carnival held over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend in June.

The carnival begins on Friday with the Golden Topaz Stakes and concludes on Sunday with the running of the Swan Hill Cup, making it one of the region’s most anticipated racing events.
