Taree Racing Track

Taree Racecourse is located on the picturesque North Coast of New South Wales, approximately 340km north of Sydney and just an hour’s drive from the major racing hub of Port Macquarie.

The track has a triangular layout with a compact circumference of 1,530m, complemented by a relatively long 350m home straight. Historically, the course tends to favour leaders, with many winners positioned at or near the front of the field when turning for home.

In addition to racing, Taree Racecourse offers a versatile selection of function spaces, catering for everything from relaxed race days to elegant weddings accommodating up to 450 guests. The venue’s peak period of excitement comes during the Taree Gold Cup Carnival, held each August.
