Werribee Racing Track

Werribee Racecourse is located on the outskirts of Melbourne in the heart of the Werribee River Valley, within the western residential suburbs about 32km south-west of the CBD. As one of Victoria’s oldest racecourses, it is well known for its intimate atmosphere, which allows racegoers to feel close to the track and the racing action.

The venue features a turf circuit with a distinctive triangular layout and banked corners, covering a maximum distance of 1,737m.

The highlight of the racing calendar is the Werribee Cup, a popular meeting that combines quality racing with off-track attractions such as Fashions on the Field, live entertainment, and music throughout the day.
