On April 1st, 2017 at Royal Randwick, Big Duke, with Craig Williams aboard, achieved his most notable victory, capturing the $300,000 Schweppes Chairmans Hcp and defeating Aloft. Big Duke has retired from racing, with his final race on September 18th, 2020 at Newcastle.
