Belmont Racecourse is Western Australia's primary winter season course. With some of the best drainage systems in the world it means that racing can be held in almost any conditions. Cold weather need not be a problem for spectators as they can partake in race day activities from the comfort of fully enclosed facilities which are nestled between the course itself and Perth's gorgeous Swan River.Just 5km from the Perth CBD, the track itself has a circumference of 1,699m and a home straight 333m long.
