Goulburn Racecourse lies in the thriving cultural community of Goulburn just 2 hours drive south of Sydney and just 100kms north of the nation's capital, Canberra. The traditional country heritage and atmosphere are prevalent at a course which produces break-neck racing on one of the fastest tracks. Goulburn has a circumference of 1750m that is some 20m wide throughout. The lap ends down the 400m home straight as the horses fly past many a marquee and spectator alike. The Club's feature event is the Goulburn Cup which has been held annually and dates back to the first recorded running back in 1883.
