Moe Racecourse sits in the west of the stunning Latrobe Valley 137kms east of Melbourne. The course has all the facilities and perks of a metropolitan venue along with first-rate racing action to boot. The course is lined with pristine gardens and lawns that gives patrons clear views of the nearby Baw Baw Mountains.Diamond-like in shape, the Moe Racecourse has a modest 1740m circumference which harbours an uphill run on the back straight.  The 300m long home straight is where it gets a bit easier for the horses as there is a bit of a downhill run towards the finishing post, past the course's grandstand and function centre, The Turfside Function Room.Latrobe City residents are given a half day public holiday to commemorate the running of the Moe Cup which is held in October every year and continually attracts large crowds that embrace spring racing at its finest.Feature Races:The Moe Cup 1600m
