Oakbank Racecourse is the home of jumps racing in South Australia and can be found 33kms east of Adelaide amongst the crisp air of the Adelaide Hills. Oakbank Racecourse is considered by many to be the venue for the largest picnic race meet in the world and comes bursting to life over the Easter weekend. Thousands turn out from across South Australia to take part in a myriad of race day activities for all ages over the two day event held on Easter Saturday and Monday. The Course itself is unique containing an extended steeple circuit and the regular 1800m circuit which have a start finish straight some 360m long.
