The Walcha Racecourse is situated 415km north of Sydney in the primary production area of the Walcha district.The course proper can be quite testing for competitors as its 1400m circumference is quite narrow.The Walcha Race Club holds an annual 2-day carnival at the start of each year which gets great support from people in surrounding areas.
