Positioned just on the edge of Melbourne and in the heart of the Werribee River Valley, Werribee racecourse sits amongst the western residential areas 32kms south-west of the CBD. One of Victoria's oldest tracks, it is popular for its cosy atmosphere that brings race-goers close to the track and all the racing action. Werribee racecourse is a turf track unique for its banked corners and triangular shape over a maximum distance of 1,737m. The Werribee Cup is the feature event of the course. The day’s racing is complimented by fashions on the field, entertainment and live music.
