About
Bev's Nine is a 5yo bay gelding from Australia trained by John O'Shea and Tom Charlton at Randwick. He is by Shalaa out of Emancipationist. As a stakes winner with $381,325 in earnings, he is considered a horse of above‑average ability. On 16 May 2026 at Scone, jockey Zac Lloyd rode him to his biggest victory, capturing the $200,000 Ortensia Stakes over Brudenell. He has been a profitable runner for bettors; a lifelong backer would have seen a 165% ROI.
